Noble Premium Bison Heartland Hosts

Does it look like scenes from Heartland on CBC? While crossing Canada to film NATIVE | The Prodigies of an Icon https://nativemovie.com we stopped in to visit and interview with Kelly and Peter Long of Noble Premium Bison and stayed in their incredible guest cabin (custom built by Peter) just outside of the Town of High River where the Heartland TV Show is filmed and Amber Marshall has a pretty awesome little boutique Marshall’s Country Store.

Kelly and Peter’s cabin is not too far around the corner from the Heartland Ranch (yes it’s real and no we won’t tell you where it is)… we may have accidentally driven up on them filming Season 17 (sorry to whomever drives the white Expedition in Season 17!)…

Beautiful country!

Turns out High River is a hotspot for films. From Superman to Heartland. Maybe they’ll add the NATIVE documentary to the list.

If you ever visit, be sure to check out the incredible bison jump mural in town. Museum of the Highwood & High River Visitor Information Centre has some great maps of spots to check out and information on filming locations.
